Welcome to the Great Global Treasure Hunt on Google Earth™. Are you ready to puzzle your way around the world in search of €50,000?

This is no ordinary treasure hunt. Inside the pages of this book are a number of beautiful and complex illustrations containing textual and visual clues as to the whereabouts of the treasure.

Each puzzle will lead you to a location on Google Earth™. You will need a copy of the book and access to the Google Earth™ application to cross-reference and make sense of the clues. These clues may include patterns and outlines found in satellite imagery, unique elements of scenery, directions from one place to another, thematic connections, and other such links.

The solutions to all these puzzles form the clue to the final prize-winning location. This is your key to the treasure chest. To stand a chance of winning this amazing prize, return to this website and enter your answer on the “submit answer” page. (Be careful when you submit your answer as only one entry per person will be allowed.)

You may be helped on your way by the author and puzzle master, Dedopolus. He will tweet and facebook his suggestions, hints and tips but beware – he has crafted these puzzles over many years so is in no hurry to see them solved quickly. Some of his hints may be red herrings.
